Though it doesn't look like much from the outside, this intimate sushi spot prides itself on service. The sushi chef is in plain view as you enter, and he's happy to greet you if he's not busy creating a roll. Count on a menu of classic maki plus a few interesting combination rolls—don't miss the signature turtle roll with eel, avocado, crunch, topped with shrimp and wasabi mayo. There are a lot of fried options too: calamari, tofu, eel and oysters, all fried to a crisp. If you’re with a large group, try the deluxe maki combo, which comes complete with specialty rolls, an appetizer and salads.
