Kabuki is a traditional sushi house -- small and intimate, with polished wooden tables and food served on wooden blocks. Three chefs stand behind the sushi bar, creating miniature works of art that become your dinner. The 12 seats at the bar fill up early. If you feel like putting yourself totally at the mercy of these artisans, order the house specialty: The "Kabuki Love Boat." The chefs take the freshest ingredients in the house and load them onto a beautiful wooden boat, about two feet long. It can feed four people--or serve as a sushi orgy for two.
