My buddy and I went out on a limb and tried this place out and BOY were we pleasantly surprised. They have some really creative Maki Rolls and had a few specials as well. The Zesty roll was defintely a highlight of dinner, and so was the half-off wine/beer/sake!

This place is fantastic! Great $5 martinis during the week, terrific rolls and very friendly, unpretentious service. The atmosphere is fun, but relaxed. The best sushi place in the city!

I went to Izumi for lunch with a friend and we were both very impressed. The service was a little slow but that's probably due to the fact that it was at 11:30 on a Tuesday morning. It was clear that they had just opened up and they were still getting set up when we arrived. Once our food came, it was wonderful. The sushi was very fresh and the portions seemed larger than other sushi restaurants in the area. The nicest surprise came with the check, however. It was significantly less than other sushi restaurants in the area. I will definitely return.
