Don't let the entry area confuse you; keep walking and you'll see the angular main restaurant with vibrant walls smattered with custom Japanese art. The choice tables are right in front of the glass-paned doors in the bi-level dining room. Popular '80s hits and club beats are conversation friendly, yet loud enough to hear over the occasional gurgling fountain.
The menu features create-your-own maki rolls, plus standards like the rainbow, with tuna, smoked salmon, deep-fried crab meat, avocado, masago (caviar) and mayo. The signature roll is shrimp with masago, avocado, cream cheese, crumb and mayo, all rolled in tamago (Japanese noodle). Nigiri and sashimi are available upon request. Entrees are served with miso soup and rice and include the katsu, a breaded deep-friend tenderloin, and also teriyaki beef, chicken or salmon. Try the green tea ice cream or the tempura fried ice cream for dessert.
