Fox and Obel isn't the only upscale deli in Streeterville. This neighborhood spot, open since 1991, offers busy working crowds a quick gourmet alternative to fast food chains--think Italian deli offerings, pizzas and an irresistible array of desserts poised tantalizingly at eye level. Tutto Pronto also sells spirits and wine (including a healthy selection of chilled bottles). Get adventurous with the eggplant or Italian Stallion pizza (ground beef, pepperoni, garlic), or head to the deli counter for serious Italian subs with all the fixings. (It's a challenge to eat a whole one, so consider the half-sub combo specials.) There are prepared foods and pasta salads too--our favorite is the blue cheese chicken salad. In 2008, owners added a sit-down BYOB dining option, Adesso, a spinoff to the Boystown BYOB of the same name. The Adesso menu includes rustic Italian dishes: pastas, antipasti, and entrees such as braised short ribs and pan-seared salmon.
