Tuscany
4.1
- Neighborhood: Little Italy/University Village

Tuscany's Northern Italian menu includes pizza made in a wood-burning brick oven and chicken roasted in a wood-burning rotisserie oven. Desserts include homemade tiramisu and fruit tortes. Sorbets are imported from Milan and served in fruit shells--(pineapple sorbet in half a pineapple, for example). Tuscany's polished wood exterior features French cafe doors (opened in nice weather) and wall fixtures that look like old-fashioned gas lamps. "Proper attire required" means customers must dress in a "smart casual" manner, according to the manager--no cutoffs, tank tops or jeans with holes.
