I'm in love with Trattoria!!! DELICIOUS! Paul will greet you with a warm smile and usually comes around to check on you throughout dinner as well. Everyone is friendly and attentive. I recommend the Rigatoni Alla Vodka. It's amazing! I can't say enough good things about this place. I'm so glad it moved into the Neighborhood.

Such a disappointing experience.

A girlfriend and I visited this restaurant on a high recommendation from a friend that lives nearby. Our waiter was dismissive, unfriendly, slow and acted as if we were really inconveniencing him that we didn't know everything about the menu. The food was average at best. The vodka sauce was very tomatoey and thick, the yellow squash and corn soup was red and tasted like a red pepper tomato soup, caprese salad was good - but not really a way to mess that up.

It was rainy summer night, so the place was near empty. I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant to anyone or go back. There are so many other fantastic places to eat in the city and this one did not make the cut for either of us.

We could eat here every week

One of the best menus of all the contemporary Italian restaurants in Chicagoland, Trattoria Isabella is a great spot. Service was expert and the wine list was well-chosen. The dining room is very attractive, with well-spaced tables. Huge bar and outdoor dining area as well. You can tell that the ownership really knows Italian food and hospitality.

First-class Italian

With so many fine Italian restaurants open in Chicago, do we need another trattoria? In the case of ISABELLA, the answer is yes. We found a solid menu of modern Italian favorites including more than one risotto. First-class preparation and thoughtful service. Loved the Spaghetti Carbonarra and Bolognese. Ample wine list at reasonable markups. And we haven't even experienced the outdoor patio yet! This place is right up there with La Vita, Topo Gigio and Trattoria Roma, our best-of-Chicago choices.

been here many times...best ambiance, service, and menu for lunch around. bustling, yet never feels over-croweded. frequented by business people, lunching ladies, and romantic couples. lunch can be speedy if needed, but if you prefer to linger over a bottle of chianti (or 2), no one will rush you. stay all day.

New Years Eve

Amazing place. Our party of four had 3 bottles of wine, 2 appetizers, filet mignon/pasta, salads and coffee/dessert for $250. The food was fantastic and the service was the best part of our night. We were treated so well - it truly made all the difference in the world. We're going back very soon.

Hidden Gem

This restaurant has been a great addition to the near west loop neighborhood. I live in the neighborhood and often stop in for dinner or even just for a cappucino and gelato. The owners are very friendly and the food is great.....everything is made from scratch. Their patio is wonderful, too! Definitely check this place out.
