The Rosebud

This is the original Rosebud (there are now locations on Rush St. and Superior St., Highland Park and Naperville). It's classic Italian dining in a formal and comfortable setting. Some of the tables have white linen tablecloths while others have red-and-white checked, which illustrates the restaurant's formality/informality. Even with its high-class appeal, Rosebud doesn't turn you away if you wear neat jeans and a shirt. It is not unusual to dine with celebrities in Rosebud (Mel Gibson and John and Joan Cusack have been spotted). Portions, especially of pasta dishes, are enormous.
