After a year-long renovation project, a 102-year building has been transformed into an elegant Italian eatery. Tessa's Naperville, owned by Naperville restaurateur Jim Bergeron, features beautifully restored brick, Brazilian walnut floors, mahogany walls and pounded copper trim. The first floor is a full-service dining room and bar, the second floor has a banquet room, and the third floor features a private room with a wine cellar and balcony. The ambience and service is upscale, but not stuffy, as Tessa's caters to families with its kid-friendly staff and family-style menu. Signature items include rigatoni with sweet and spicy sausage, steaks, chops, pasta, and calamari.
