Theo and Meghan Gilbert, the husband-and-wife team behind Roscoe Village foodie fave Terragusto, are also behind this Lincoln Park sibling. Though this location serves alcohol (Roscoe Village is strictly BYOB), you can otherwise expect the same compact seasonal Italian menu, which highlights organic, sustainable, local and handcrafted ingredients, including handmade pasta. The menu changes monthly, but representative dishes include Venetian black pasta ribbons tossed with shrimp in a spicy white wine sauce and herbed sea salt-rubbed cast iron-roasted pork loin with baked polenta and seasonal veggies. Terragusto devotees take note: Chef Theo is also scouting property for a high-end Italian spot with a projected 2010 or 2011 opening.
