Salerno's vestibule showcases a who's who of Chicago. An autographed picture of former Chicago Blackhawks player Jeri Boran says the restaurant has the "best food in town." Other celebrities including Lester Holt, Richard Jeni and Bob Wallace left their signatures as endorsements. Once inside, you'll find an eclectic and enjoyable atmosphere. As light jazz or big band music plays in the background, you can admire a mural of Venice on one wall and a collection of photos from Chicago's past on another. The equally eclectic menu offers pasta, veal, steak, poultry, sandwiches and, of course, pizza.
