This warm Italian bistro brings Taylor-street authenticity to the heart of the business district. It hums with power lunchers at mid-day, and prior to Bulls games or on big theater Saturdays in the evening. Part of the Rosebud restaurant family, it puts out the Italian hospitality in abundance. The decor features honey-blond wood and black accents. The linen tablecloths are topped with white butcher paper, rounding out the bistro feel. A sleek bar near the back is away from the open front, affording a little isolation from the plaza's endless hustle. Face away from the front of the building and you might forget you're even in the Loop at all, transplanted to Little Italy instead.
This location also offers a Rosebud Express, with both breakfast and lunch offerings for the time-strapped. Breakfast includes waffles, eggs and made-to-order omelets; lunch features salads, sandwiches and pasta.
