I chose to eat here, as the menu was varied, it was a good location, and has free parking and a wide selection of draft beer. The service was good, the food mediocre. The bbq chicken was overcooked, the chicken vesuvio was shocking in appearance. It was 2 grilled chicken breasts and potatoes covered in a tasteless, beige, gelatinous gravy. The meal tasted as bad as it looked. The sauteed spinach looked and tasted like it came from a can. The vegetarian lasagna looked great, but it was also disappointing. It had overcooked veggies and hardly any pasta. The vesuvio was quickly and politely replaced with a turkey burger that also missed the mark. Be warned the wine is served in "thimbles".

Rockin' good time!!

Just like the old "Cheers" cliche, this bar really makes you feel like everybody knows your name. You walk in, everybody turns to look at you, and they all say "hi!" Not your normal neighborhood spot in Lincoln Park. By the end of the evening, I knew the story of everyone at the bar, met a hottie young lady, and will DEFINITELY be coming back to have the gorgeous English chick bartender pour me some stiff drinks. And they serve food late, which really helps said drinks stay put!! If any place says "Chicago," it's Ranalli's.

I love this place!

I have been a frequenter of Ranalli's On Clark for some time now and I have to admit it is one of my favorite places in the city. The staff here are a riot and they always hang out with the regulars after work and are a lot of fun. The boneless Rib Sandwich is the best I have ever had and you must give the Southwest Chicken Wrap a try. I have found I can go there with friends or by myself and I will have an equally good time. The free parking was the reason I first started going and it is a huge plus but it's not the reason I go back time and time again. This place is awesome!

So gross. I ate better in college when I used to go to the nearby 7-11 and get the hotdog and smother it in that fake cheese sauce - NO JOKE. That this place even exists defies comprehension.

I was new to the neighbourhood this summer and I stopped by the patio with friends for some breakfast one weekend morning. I was very pleasently surprised. The service was outstanding, for a hot, sunday morning the server was very upbeat and pleasent and though my order was a bit ackward she was very patient and helpful and brought my food exactly how I wanted it, and it tasted great. None of my friends had any complaints either. A few weeks later I returned to the bar for some food during the weekend and it too was equally as enjoyable in the atmosphere. My server from before even remembered my face and said hello which was a nice touch. I will be back.

My party of 3 dined Sunday late afternoon/ early evening and the service was horrible! And I don't think I have ever seen such rudeness from restaurant staff before, not only toward us but to other diners as well. They obviously couldn't wait for everyone to leave. VERY, VERY disappointed in my one and ONLY visit to Ranalli's on Clark. Won't go back.

I live in Lincoln Park and went here for the first time the other night and was very impressed. The service was awesome and the food was even better. After we ate we stayed for some drinks at the bar and had a really fun time. It was a nice change from the crowded bars with horrible service that we usually would go to in Lincoln Park. This is a place I will be going to more often.

The food is great. Huge portions and very affordable. The restaurant is very family friendly but not a Lincoln Park hot- spot for party-goers.Parking validation is a real plus.
