The best Italian food outside of Italy in the NorthWest Suburbs!!!!!!!!

I was told by a co-worker to try this unique place that was familyowned and operated in a strip mall in Arlington Heights. When my husband & I walked in this place you already felt like part oif the family. The owner came to the table sang a traditional italian song
(which was so romantic). The waitreses were so friendly and brought some special appitizer to the table; it was sooooo good on top of the homemade bread. When we got our dishes my husband ordered the Veal Pompei with a side of patato Gnocchi with melted cheese. The veal looked so good that when it was cut it the cheese oozed out from it. I ordered the Articoke Parm with a side of baked pasta with a tomato and basil sauce. It tasted so fresh like the veggie's were picked that day. After dinner, we had homemade connoli and strawberry gelato with two double espressos. I can' t wait to bring my parents who are from Italy there. I recommand that everyone go and try this little taste of heavan. Enjoy being back in Italy again!!!!!!!!!

Relative to restaurants in its price classification, this place is very special (hence the 4 stars). This place is nothing to look at; it is in a Buffalo Grove strip mall and is overly lit on the inside. However, the food is terrific. The owner has a heavy Italian accent and took my reservation by phone. That was a good sign. The bread and salad were very fresh. Most importantly, the entrees were very well prepared. The wine list was dull, but an afterthought; this place is all about the food. I live 27 miles away but would definitely go again. Extremely friendly staff! Hats off to you for running such a good restaurant.

Delicious!!! This place gets 5 stars out of four. You wouldn't think it is this good from the outside but if you don't stop in your missing out. The food is incredible, I don't know what else to say. The service was awesome too. Two thumbs up!!
