Terrible Food, Service, Experience

There were 5 of us last week sitting outside eating pizza minding our own business. A waitress came up to us and said, "We have a wait limit on our tables once the bill has been paid." Basically, she was saying leave. I have never been told to leave from a restaurant, and we had paid our bill and left a good tip. We were probably only there 15 minutes after the bill came, on top of all this is the fact that no one was waiting for a table. I hope this place moves out of Wicker Park, so no one else has to deal with this place.

Good Pizza - Horrific Service

I've been ordering pizza for years from this place and its good pizza, but definitely not worth the incredibly rude service. They just lost a customer because it was the last time that I was going to be rudely hung up on because THEY couldn't hear me or that I wasn't paying in cash for a delivery. They actually made me feel bad that I didn't have cash and that I went to an ATM to get it...kind of defeats the purpose of delivery. Sorry, boys, I'll head to PMetro II from now on.

nice crust, tasty pizza. maybe not the best in the city but certainly among them. i've ordered and dined in several times. the quality if the pizza is consistently good.
service at the restaurant is friendly but when ordering on the phone they're a little rude and take too long to deliver

I have never actually been to the Pizza Metro restaurant, but whenever I order pizza it is ALWAYS from this restaurant. The crust is great, the pizza is always hot and the delivery is always super fast. The value is great for the money: the pizzas are huge and delicious. We can eat leftovers for days. Definitely recommend as the best delivery pizza in all of Chicago. I don't order from anywhere else when I want delivery pizza.

Went the other day, and the potato/rosemary pizza is unbelievable. Crust is outstanding, and it was cooked perfectly. We had a very pleasant waitress and we waited no more than 15 minutes. Read the other reviews, which weren't very flattering, but went anyway. Don't let the bad reviews keep you away. Treat people the way you want to be treated, and everything will be fine!

This is the second time I have tried to order for delivery from Pizza Metro and the second time I regretted ordering anything from them. WHY do they say they offer delivery if they dont want to deliver? I ordered at 7:00, and I called at 8:30 to inquire about my pizza and see if they were lost. They HUNG UP ON ME. Purposely! I didnt even get the opportunity to be nice OR rude! They just said, "it's on it's way" and hung up. Then the same ass called me at 8:45 and INSISTED that I had to walk to the corner to pick up my pizza. I explained to the guy that I had SURGERY today which is why I needed it delivered, but he pretended not to hear me and kept saying "Hhheelloooo your pizza is on the corner. Just go to the corner."

So my mediocre cold pizza and salad didnt arrive at my door until 9pm. I paid $24 for NOTHING. I'm home, I'm sick, and HUNGRY for some decent food. I will say the delivery guy was very nice however.

I've always found Pizza Metro's service to be absolutely ATROCIOUS. Every single time I've ever called for a delivery, the person on the other end has repeatedly tried to convince me to come pick it up as opposed to getting it delivered. Any delivery I've ever had has taken a minimum of two hours. Two hours?? Seriously?? If you go in, I've found the experience to be no better. The staff has never struck me as particularly caring about helping customers; rather, the order of the day seems to be an effort in promulgating a "holier-than-thou" attitude , because, from what I can tell, they're über-hipsters working in the proverbial "crotch" of hipster central. That being said, their pizza is pretty dope, and some of my favorite pizza in the city. It's the staff's collective ego trip that I can't abide by.

i have never eaten at the establishment, but if you ever call for delivery, you're wasting your time. the people who work take the orders are rude. i understand that doing late deliveries means that you probably deal with some drunk inconsiderate customers, but it doesn't give you a right to take it out on the customers who aren't those people. it doesn't matter what time you call, they will still be incredibly awful to you. the pizza is alright, but for what you have to deal with and the price you're paying it's incredibly not worth it.

i've tried this place 4 times now, hoping it wasn't just a bad delivery night, but it's never gotten any better.

Pizza metro is a new concept way to it real roman pizza, very good crust,thin, an crispy..very good ingredient, my favor pizza is potato and rosmery, and the sausage pizza.
People the give bad rewiew abbout the pizza is because they dont know..abbout pizza roma style.
