We love this pizza. This is just a hole in the wall kind of place but it has great pizza.

In a city drenched in cheese, this pizza strikes the perfect balance of ingredients, with the world's best crust to boot! The decor is classic, and the location is just far enough away from Michigan Ave. to ensure a local clientele (as opposed to Giordano's on Rush - no thanks).

The food is okay, but my overall expirience of this place is not good. The waiter came to our table twice, to take our order and to give us the check (which we were not even finished eating when he brought it to us). The bus boy was more attentive to us. We gave him a better tip. The waiter was rude and it seemed like we were not wanted there. I called the next day to complain to the manager and tell him that his server was not up to par, and he laughed at me over the phone. Personally, if it were me, I wouldn't care who sits down at my table, I would treat every single customer like they are special. They need to learn customer service. I will not be returning. Go to Gino's East.

Dined with 5 adults and 2 kids........to sit by the window "you have leave the stroller outside" there was a sleeping 2 year old in the stroller!!!!! Their food doesnt supercede the service. When I said something to the manager on the way, he was rude and flippant. Waitress-horrible and rude. Once they walked us to the back room, they told us "that stroller will never fit in here". Go somewhere that has better pizza and better service and attitude. Place is a joke, we ended up eating apps and getting our pizzas to go.....They should invest in a ceiling fan for the back room. With the sweat running from my forhead, I still had to ask for water.

The pizza if great, the service is terrible. I live down the block, and it as favorite for picking up on the way home from work, but I would emphatically not recommend dine in or delivery.
Report This ReviewBad service unless you name is Oprah who has the power to promote this restaurant on her show.
Don't even try the delivery service. The worst in Chicago thus far
Ordered Pizza for delivery. Took almost 2 hours for delivery, pizza was overated. Oprah was a little too modest in her recomendation.
Report This ReviewAll I had was the pizza, but it, and the service, was so good that they get highest marks all 'round. Trying to think back over the last 40 years: I'm fairly sure that this is the best pizza ever.
Report This ReviewLove this "hide out". everything is so Chicago, even the smoke screen shrouding the place. Pizza is as you want it.
Great music to set the tone for the overlarge pasta dishes, which is matched with taste to boot.
Pizza is best either thin of deep dish..
Serice is mixed, watch out for educated attitude, maybe they need to get jobs that respect their education.
