This no-frills West Town cafe serves tasty Italian standards in a family-friendly atmosphere. Fake vines crawl up walls painted with a mural to mimick an outdoor Italian cafe while easy-listening tunes play throughout the dining room. You're almost guaranteed to hear at least one person speaking Italian here. Skip the pizza and go straight for one of the traditional pasta or seafood dishes, such as gamberi (shrimp) with linguini and marinara. The wine list mimics the food: Not too fancy, but tasty and reasonably priced. Portions here are massive, so be careful not to fill up on complimentary rolls before your meal. If you aren't too full after dinner, stay for coffee and cannoli for dessert.
