Louisa's Gourmet Pizza and Pasta
4.6
Truly a family-owned business down to the family snapshots that adorn this Italian restaurant, Louisa's Gourmet Pizza serves home cooking in a comfortable atmosphere. Owner Louisa DeGenero, who worked at Pizzeria Due for 21 years before opening her own restaurant, says she doesn't offer daily specials because everything on the menu is special: "All made to order for you." The menu is mostly pasta-based: Typical offerings are cheese and meat ravioli, chicken marsala and eggplant and veal parmesan. And who could forget the pizza? Louisa's was voted best pizza in the Chicago's Choice Dining Poll.
