This super-swank NYC-based eatery (which also has locations in Dallas, Las Vegas and Tokyo) is located in the historic Biggs Mansion. Brothers Gino and Fernando Masci, who hail from Abruzzi, Italy, opened the original Greenwich Village Il Mulino (where it's still tough to snag a reservation) in1982. The menu here is loaded with Italian classics such as fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti carbonara, veal saltimbocca and capellini arrabbiata. During the summer, dine alfresco and save some dough: The outdoor menu offers lighter, less expensive fare, including appetizers, panini and pizza.
