The family behind Beverly's popular Franconello Italian Restaurant have opened a second location in the old Maxwell Street Market area (now called University Village Marketplace). The menu offers choices like banana peppers stuffed with crumbled sausage, sun-dried tomato and smoked mozzarella pizza, braised short ribs with creamy polenta, and of course, tiramisu. The stylish woody space features deep-burgundy booths, expansive windows and accents of Virginia limestone, plus an open display kitchen.
