Soul Kitchen may be closed, but there's hope for the southeast corner of Wicker Park's famed six-point intersection with this new outpost in Mia Francesca's ever-growing empire. You'll find Francesca faves like its signature salad and carpaccio, but also more dishes designed to share (bring a date!). Also, look for a lineup of Italian meats and cheeses (like prosciutto di Parma and truffle flavored pecorino tartufato), plus antipasti like Sicilian tuna puttanesca-style and roasted beets with Gorgonzola and hazelnuts. Other choices include jazzed-up pizzas and pasta. The space now features rustic-style tables and chairs, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provide great views of the busy intersection. Brunch features the regular lunch menu plus breakfast fare like a ricotta, spinach and tomato frittata and a cured salmon and chive scrambled egg pizza with mascarpone cheese and shaved red onions.
