Ciao! Cafe & Wine Lounge
- Neighborhood: West Loop
- 939 W. Madison St.
- Chicago, IL 60607
- 312-850-2426
- Price range: $$ ($9-$15)
Small plates and vino are the focus at this affordable West Loop spot, which keeps late lounge hours on the weekends. Small plates are an eclectic mix of everything from brie en croute to bacon-wrapped dates to empanadas, while the modest selection of larger entree-sized plates leans Italian with tortellini, rigatoni and other pasta dishes. There's also a selection of sharable flatbread pizzas. Though it's loungey after dark, there's also a bit of a cafe vibe going on, as the place has an espresso bar and free WiFi and regularly hosts movie nights, boutique shows, live music and monthly wine tastings.

Small intimate setting that is low key but warm and friendly. Ciao is wonderful cafe to sit and have a glass of wine with fresh salad or sandwich.
