The food quality was consistent that served in the Rosemont restaurant - good, solid but not spectacular. The Bruschetta was unusual in that it was a build your own with the tomato, mozzeralla and goat cheese served as condiments to the corstini; the Duck was very good. However, in this last visit, the kitchen sent out the wrong entree for my date. Shortly after the return, the Manager (Zach?) came with the Pork Tenderloin that had been ordered and an apology. The restaurant provided comped deserts for the inconvenience. The servers were attentive both before and after the mistake. It is clear that the quality has improved significantly from the service level and food quality reflected in the poor 2006 reviews. The 5 Star rating for service came from how the staff reacted to and corrected the mistake with the entree.

This place was excellent. We live in the city but met some friends for dinner here. The atmosphere was warm and decorative. The martinis were better than the ones I've had downtown (they have a brand new martini list...try the raspberry cream..its to die for). My tortellini in butter sage sauce was done just right, not too heavy. Overall, I'd definitely be back here!

My wife and I have been there twice. The food has been good to very good. Our first time there the service was outstanding. The second was not. This restaurant has potential to be very good or just ok. It is not because of Mr Webbster. He was the chef at Spasso several years ago and this guy knows how to cook. Like any large place, your experience is going to be determined by quite a few people and any one of them can ruin it. If you don't like it don't go,BUT you could easily end up dropping MORE cash at your local Fridays!! Sorry but no comparision.

I am really surprised as I was reading others' reviews! I am 100% Italian and I know what the real deal is when it comes to Italian food. Everytime I go to Carlucci I try something new and I am surprised everytime with my entree! The food is GREAT! I dine there often with clients, co-workers, friends, and family. Service has been good- everyone is friendly- says hello- recognizes me and I feel good about that. It's not a place to be in and out it is a place to enjoy yourself and the atmoshere. There wason occasion one or two things I didn't particulary care for but that happens evrywhere. Overall-I would reccomend it.

I was surprised to see the poor reviews. My parents have raved about Carlucci's for months, so I decided to take my Mom there for Mothers Day (lunch). Our server, Jack, was incredible - outstanding, kind, attentive service (he pampered us). The food was delicious, the menu was so creative but still offered the Italian standards (pastas, parmesans, vesuvio, marsala, etc). My Mom had Lobster Ravioli that was stuffed with huge chunks of sweet tender lobster, I had a roasted whitefish with hollandaise and asparagus. We had the pancetta-wrapped scallops appetizer, a spinach salad and a caprese salad - the food was outstanding! It was a beautiful restaurant, and the service from valet to table (and back again) was fantastic. Maybe they've undergone incredible changes since last year??? I don't know...but my one experience was great, and my parents have been many times and have always loved it.

I had my daughter 16th birthday there with a group of 18. It was great. The penny house wine on fridays was a great value. The food was delicious. My dinner the chicken parmagiana was very good. The music a little loud, is my only bad comment.

The worst restaurant I've been to in a long time! Service was horrible. Almost 20 minutes just to get our drinks. Food was lousy too. The filet mignon was chewy and flavorless. Eggplant Parmigiana was hard and undercooked. A miserable experience all around! Would never go back!

Beautiful restaurant with horrible service and food. The wait staff could not be more rude. If you want real Italian food go to Vic's (10 minutes east on Butterfield). Will never go there again.

I went to this resturant for a birthday and had sub par food, horrible service with an attitude not only that but I paid a great price for it. I do not recommend this reuaurant to anyone.Save your money and time for a place that will respect you and earn your money.
