If you are in the Palatine area Capri is off Dundee and Rand. All I can say is JUST AWESOME!!! I find that one of the things that Chicago and the Chicagoland area is lacking are really good sub shops. Don't get me wrong, I know they exist, but coming from South Florida for the last 20 years they are everywhere. I can say though that Capri is probably better than any sub shop in South Florida. There is Laspada down there that my brother loves and they are good due to having white onions instead of red. What ever happened to the day of the white onion? Subway used to have it, now it's all red. Everywhere, it's just red. Anyways, great stuff from the Italian to the Meatball. Their pizza is very good as well. Slices the size of your head. Actually maybe even bigger than your head. Great food, super nice guys there. The owner is this awesome south side guy (i assume from the HEAVY accent). The younger guy kickin the subs is great at what he does as well and always nice as can be. Go to Capri Deli, you'll thank me. Well, after you digest. ENJOY!!!

great place to go for a sub sandwhich. The owners work hard so their customers are satisfied. You get MORE FOR YOUR MONEY. If you are a huge sub/ sandwich eater nothing beats this place.

Capri serves great food at a great value! Do not look for anything fancy; this is simply an excellent deli. They serve superb sandwiches, homemade soup (chicken noodle is noteworthy), and pizza. The portions are generous, but not ridiculous. If you are ordering for a group, everyone will find something first-rate at Capri.
