Buca di Beppo, known for family-style service and gigantic portions of southern Italian food--like the two-and-a-half pound platter of spaghetti and meatballs and an entire roast chicken cacciatore--is located at in the North Bridge shopping center. The decor is a throwback to Italian supper clubs of the '50s, with plenty of Romanesque statues, red-checked tablecloths, photos of famous and funny Italians and, of course, Dean and Frank on the sound system. Buca di Beppo has several themed private dining rooms, including a wine room and kitchen table. Signature dishes include baked ravioli, chicken parmigiana, stuffed shells and tiramisu. Lunch options include entree-size salads, ciabatta sandwiches and even a burger.
