After a long week, a nice dinner out at Amore Mio was just what I needed. I sat down and immediately had great service and felt very at home. I began with the pear salad which was phoenominal. Between the mixed greens, dried cranberries, and roasted almonds, I feel that the variety of textures and tastes worked extremely well together. Next, I had one of the specials which was the angus beef tenderloin topped with gorgonzola cheese and a side of spinach and roasted potatoes. The gorgonzola really added a burst of flavor to each bite and gave the dish character. For dessert, I had the pear tart. The base of this creation consists of a warm, flaky pastry, and it is topped with thinly sliced pears and caramel ice cream. The flavors complimented each other, and the overall taste of it was very refreshing. Every bite of the pear tart was even more amazing than the last.

The only negative thing about this place is how much discipline is required to prevent yourself from going there every single night.

I absolutely love the food. I feel so happy to have such a good resteraunt near by. The food is completey authentic Italian quality. I am treated so well everytime i dine there. Everyone is friendly, especially the Chef's father-he is a first class host and quietly charming. I always feel welcome and he goes out of his way to give great service and remembers details of what we like. Try the specials, try everything!!! Reallysome of the best Italian food I have ever had.

Amore at first bite.

What a wonderful meal. The artichoke appetizer was just the right size and I thought it was spectacular. Next was the fava ravioli, and all I can say is, Oh My God! You should experience it to truly understand it. The Lamb chop was the most tender I have had in....ever. The wine was exceptional, the wait staff was always there, but did not hover. We will definitely return, as often as it is possible. My only two cons are, the dining room is a little tight and the specials change daily. Will the fava bean ravioli be on special next week?

If you're a foodie, you will appreciate the food at Amore Mio. The specials menu changes daily , and is solid and pure. I would recommend Amore Mio in a heart beat. I eat primarily fish and seafood, never a issue finding something delicious to eat., the salads are amazing as well, don't miss them! A must restaurant to go on a regular basis. Chef Antonio is up and coming, so get in, while you can. Buon appetito .

Amore Mio, what a find.

My friend, told me about this little hole in the wall.  I checked out the website to see what they had to offer.  The menu, didn't look like anything special, but my wife an I decided to give it a try.  This is the most impressive Italian restaurant I have been to in the suburbs. We were waited on by one of the owners, Nicola.  He entertained us with his broken english and an unforgettable smile.  As I said before, their dinner menu didn't impress me, but there daily specials is where Chef Antonio (Nicola's son) does his magic.  We started off with some battered homgrown zucchinni blossoms and a grilled peach salad with goat cheese and hazelnuts.  For our main course,  I went for the zuppa di pesce.  What made this different from every other place place, is that it came with homemade squid ink cavatelli.  My wife had the homemade swiss chard and fava bean ravioli in a garlic white wine sauce,  topped with pea shoots, mint and pecorino romano.    We were so full, but mangaed to save a little room for dessert.  I tried their homemade chocolate souffle, and my wife had a lemoncello cake with chocolate ganache and berries. Both were outstanding and I would reccommend to anyone. The only downside to our meal was that the restaurant got a little noisy when it was full on a Saturday night. Overall our dining experience was great...great food, great service.
