This kosher Israeli and Moroccan influenced restaurant has developed a loyal following, especially for those looking for good kosher beef. Prime, aged beef selections include a charred, bone-in rib-eye, and a skirt steak sautéed with onions, green peppers and mushrooms. Other specialties, like the grilled lamb chops and the Turkish-style shish kebab are good choices. For starters, try the kubeh, a cracked wheat dumpling filled with ground beef and served with hummus, or the pastels, crispy wrappers stuffed with spiced potato. Salads, stuffed pitas and soups round out the menu. Sundays feature a Yemenite brunch in addition to the regular menu. Taboun Grill provides patrons with a kosher hand-washing station.
