Vong's Thai Kitchen: User Reviews
Food was great, a very good value for the price. However, as always the service was slow. had to ask for knife and a fork 2 times and wait 15min. even slow to bring the bill. great food so so service
Report This ReviewI have been craving their pot stickers ever since I had them! I will be back!
Report This Reviewvery flavorful food but the service sucks. I kepted having to ask for more water etc. portions are good size
Report This ReviewFood was very good, a bit pricey for Thai, apps were small. Cool space but needs some sound dampening put in. Menu is terribly organized, service could have been friendlier. $25 per person group menu is good, but 11 of 20 dishes had "Add $1" to them, which is small but a bit annoying -- just raise the price by a dollar, don't nickel and dime.
Service was fine, could have been a bit friendlier.
I think the food and atmospher are great! I'm always pleased even when I try new dishes. It's also VERY vegetarian friendly which is great when you have a mixed crowd. The service is pretty mixed usually depending on how busy they are.
Report This Review**Very impressive!** The Black Plate option was a great way to go for newcomers. It included seven different appetizers, followed by a selection of two main course items. The flavors were potent, and spice appropriate. After the five star Thai experience at Arun's, both my wife and I would come back to Vong's instead. Our favorite Thai restaurant in the city.
Report This ReviewHave always thought this was the best "Thai" food in town and last night's dinner did nothing to dissuade me. New shrimp and scallop item was excellent, unusual combination of squash and apples with the seafood worked well. Spicy beef noodle dish came as advertised, very spicy and flavorful. Portions were appropriately sized, service attentive.
