Twist, which opened in early 2003, changed hands in April of 2005. New owners made a few cosmetic changes and added a few new food offerings, but they opted to keep most of the menu of international tapas intact. In addition to traditional favorites such as gambas al ajillo, shrimp, olive oil and red pepper flakes and solomillo con cabrales, grilled beef tenderloin crusted with Spanish bleu cheese, you'll find seared ahi tuna, jalapeno gnocchi and other international fusion dishes. Works from local artists adorn the walls, which are otherwise covered in brightly colored tiles. A full bar provides plenty of seating, a full menu and pitchers of sangria. There's almost always an open table during the week, but expect to wait on weekends unless you arrive before the dinner rush.
