Went for brunch with work colleagues. The food was delicious, spiced well, and at $11.99 for the numerous choices, I felt the brunch was a great deal. Can't wait to go back for dinner!

This was the best little surprise! A friend and I wanted BYOB Indian and stumbled across India Grill. Neither of us were too familiar with Indian food, but the server was amazing and helped us to pick several great dishes. Everyone was so friendly, the food was perfect, great portions, good flavor. The decor of the place was very nice as well. Great painted walls, beautiful tile work and large chandeliers hanging over head. It looks really fancy when you walk in, but the price is right....we spent under $40 and were stuffed full and had left overs to take home. Check the place out, stop at the Sam's down the road and get a bottle of wine....don't mind the construction going on out front.

I go there at least twice a week because their midday/lunch buffet so good! It rivals any of the Indian buffets I have tried with my friends on Devon Street. They seem to always present a broad range of food -- and change it up daily. Very flavorful. Cool staff too.

Delicious flavor and great place to dine in. If you are a student you get 10% off. I went there with a bunch of friends and we ejoyed it very much. Definately one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Chicago.

We ordered dal makhani (pure veg dish) but a piece of chicken was found in it.
We showed it to the waiter, stopped eating and got ready to leave.....
we did not eat anything, but were charged for the whole order.....
Haven't seen such an awful service and money minded people in service industry.....

A very pleasent surprise that we found this relatively new Indian Restaurant in the South Loop. My cousin's husband who is from Kenya raved about the plates in front of us. Every dish we had, was made just the right amount of spices with fantastic flavors. The shrimp vindaloo is a not miss. We ordered a few different rice dishes & they all had a very distinct wonderful flavor that every plate was cleared. We also tried a few different lamb dishes which were all hits. Looking forward to going back. The owner Mohammed was also very friendly along with the wait staff.
Report This ReviewBest Indian south of Devon! We have experienced dine in and take out and were very impressed with both. Excellent vegetarian dishes. Vindaloo meat was superb. Highly recommended.
Report This ReviewHad dinner on one of the colder days of the year so far. I found India Grill to be good and reasonably priced when compared to other restaurants in the south loop. The food portions were the right size and took a portion of it home. Our server was very attentive and did an excellent job. However, the place was not busy, so maybe on a more crowded day things might slip. but, we had a great experience overall. I for one hope this place is successful since I will be going to eat here often.
