Saffron: User Reviews
Visiting the Saffron was an experience by itself. Having eaten in many Indian restaurant, by far the best in the suburb. It not only has an excellent food but the ambience takes you to the culture of the magestic India. One feels the warmth in the service and interaction with the client. The soft spoken owner usually walks up and tries to explain the dishes which is an education for us and we enjoy even more. The menu is very well planned and designed.
The bar which is right at the entrance looks elegant with the contemporary lights hanging and a smiley face behind the bar welcoming you as if you a part of the family and that is what attracted me. It was a love at first sight. The food came quickly even though it was a Saturday rush hour and people were waiting to be seated which is a sign of prompt service. The butter chicken and the reshmi kebab which takes me to that place always seems to be better day by day. The khurmi naan is out of this world with a touch of the Saffron's specialty rice with peas.
I have & will always enjoy the experience. Hope I can go everyday.

Saffron is a gem of a restaurant in Westmont. They succeed on all points including attractive atmosphere, comprehensive service and food that will knock your socks off! Seriously, this is the best Indian food outside of India! They offer a wide spectrum of entrees including meat and vegetarian dishes with flavors that are unique to Saffron. The Jeera Chicken and Saag Gosht are magical dishes. Do not miss the Baigan Bharta – you will not believe that eggplant could taste so fantastically! Come for the lunch buffet and sample many of the incredible dishes offered here!

We visited Saffron to celebrate Holi this week and we came back feeling so gratified..the best dishes the Gujarati special Desserts were a treat..ask for the specials these are off the menu. Angoori Rabdi, Sheera, Burfis and more.
The Murg Methi Chaman, Chicken Tikka Masala are the tops after some appetizers were the best choices.

I and my husband went to saffron after it changed from indian garden. It was his first experience with Indian food, and I know that we'll be back since the food is great , the service polite and quiet, and the mood perfectly set off by the romantic decor .

You will be amazed at the quality of the food at Saffron. I have eaten at many Indian restaurants and this is far above the rest, it is definitely not the same old, same old. The service is excellent the prices are good as well.

I went in with a few friends on Sunday afternoon and I was amazed at the hospitality and the menu choices. My friends always asked me to go and visit this place and I can tell you it was an absolute delight to my pallet and tastebuds. The Sunday buffet featured fried fish which was out of the world. I have told all my friends and family about this place. You have to go and give the buffet a try.

Saffron was an experience. The food was very good and well presented. The ambience is very good too. The menu choices were great.
The Indian wine (Merlot) was beyond my expectation and my wife tried "Jhoom" a new Indian beer which was just smooth.
The waiter LUCAS suggested us Murg Methi Chaman since we wanted a different chicken dish and it was out of this world with a Khurmi Naan on the side.
I will strongly suggest this place to everyone for an outstanding dining experience.
Saffron E kebab was a different but a good appetizer. Worth trying.
We will be going there sooooon.

I hired these guys for a college even for 400+ people. They did a spectacular job with a huge spread of food. They even got the Gosht or 'indian lamb (goat)dish' absolutely spot on, a first for me since I have been in America. Flavours are complex and diverse accross dishes even in a buffet setting which is very impressive. All in all I would highly reccomend saffron for both as a restraunt and as a catering outfit.
GREAT FOOD HERE!
