Formerly Mysore Woodlands/The Indian Garden, this downtown Westmont restaurant serves up a large menu of Indian specialties, with plenty of vegetarian options. Upon taking over the business back in 2006, Prasenjit Roy revamped the bar area and flew in custom-designed booths from India. Starters stray a bit from the traditional, with options such as lettuce wraps and veggie spring rolls supplementing the samosas. From Mulligatawney stew and Tandoor kabobs to myriad Bastmati rice dishes and South Indian-style dosas, there's tons to choose from. For dessert, save room for mango cheesecake or kulfi, traditional unchurned Indian ice cream.
