this is a solid place for pakistani food. not to be confused by indian food as many non-south asians seem to do.

food: they do kababs well. one of their curries - karabi chicken is very good. they don't do vegies well and have a poor selection.

service: polite but not attentive.

ambiance: tablecloth place but since it is a family restaurant. it is VERY loud.

value: good food with slightly higher prices. there are other places with equally good food but cheaper. but the ambiance isn't as nice.

would recommend.

Sabri Nehari is where its at for the south asain cuisine. They're food is much better than my moms and the food is very authentic. I was dissappointed with my service though. All in all the overall experience was great.

Absolutely my favorite Chicago restaurant... no kidding! Frontier chicken is my favorite. We have to go there whenever we're in Chicago.

Excellent restaurant. I must say one of Devon Avenue's better restaurants! A hint for all the newcomers of Devon, try going to either a Pakistani or Hyderabadi establishment... I feel these places have much higher quality of meat and flavor. just my two cents.

This place is alright. It certainly isnt as good as it used to be 3-4 yrs back. Quality of food has definitely gone down.

Great food. I've been to this place 3 or 4 times - I love Indian food but I've never had Indian food that's as good as the Pakistani food here. I would highly, highly recommend this place, my wife and I love it for a reasonably priced meal out.

Sabri Nihari has the ULTIMATE Indian Pakistani food.The spices are balanced and the taste is brought out in food JUST RIGHT,this IS the place to go.The other places are filled with tons of tumeric powder ...if you like that try Indian Garden.
Call in before to book a table if you have a big crowd along as seating is on 1st come basis and it fills up quickly.

Hi,...I would like to mention a few lines here.This place definitely has got good food.Desserts like Falooda(best),Ice cream, Kulfi is tasty, but like ice.
The service is poor,too noisy,lack of menus for each tables...somehow they dont want you to keep the menu with you.If you ask them to pack a carry out they pack other people's left over as my experience.
Make sure you check your food before leaving the rsturant.
The waiters definitely need some good raining,esp courtesy and giving couples privacy and not passing comments on them.Another thing is that they have a problem making a seprate bill for you if you ask another dish paked to go as a carry out!!!
Other than that....swell place to go.
