I was extremely disappointed. I ordered chicken vindaloo (my all time favorite Indian) and it did not measure up. It seemed as though the sauce was just thick like glue,(dark brown) as though it was left over from yesterday or the day before. It was nice and spicy, but not up to many other chicken vindaloo's that I have tried over the years.
Nice clean table clothes. Good service, disappointing food.

Good food, friendly service, pretty room. I'm not an expert in Indian food, but what I ate had great flavor, Some was hot enough to make me cry - particularly the yummy first serving of green sauce and crisp bread and the stuffed banana peppers. Speaking of bread, the garlic nan was awesome - on par with Bahvi's Kitchen.

I went with my sister on a Friday night and we ordered a couple items. I had said spicy for one of the entrees and it was damn right SPICY. it hurt. But the dishes were excellent and the naan was good. I used to be a Klay Oven fan, and now I have found another place to head to near me!
I'm going there tonight with my husband and brother, hope it doesnt dissapoint, Ive talked it up too much!
Report This ReviewMy boyfriend and I have eaten at Jaipur a couple of times and we love it!! The Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, and Naan are all really good. We've also had this appetizer that is a lentil wafer with tomatoes, onions, and herbs on top. It was so yummy with some of chutneys drizzled on top. The staff was also friendly and attentive and our waiter remembered us on our 2nd trip. It is a little noisy, but the food is so worth it!
Report This ReviewWent here at 10pm on a Saturday night and the place was pretty full. In fact, it was down right LOUD. No sound absorption anywhere! But the food was good, I had the Lamb Vindaloo (spicy!) and tried a new drink.. something with lime and cumin. The service was AMAZING, the kitchen fast and our server very polite!
Report This ReviewI've been to both this restaurant and the Indian restaurant across the street. Jaipur has more traditional style cuisine and decor. The menu is extensive and our waiter, Nicholas, provided his expertise in helping us select several items that would allow us to taste various textures and flavor. The food was really quite good and my friend and I were thankful for the helpful suggestions. The wine list is rather small, but the one we had was very good. We will definitely revisit (it's very close to where I live) to try more items on the menu!
Report This ReviewIf you like Indian food, but are tired of eating things with actual flavor, then this restaurant is for you. I'm not quite sure what everyone else who has reviewed this place was tasting, but if they really liked it then they must have lost all their taste buds in some sort of tragic accident. The service was perfectly fine, the decor was nice, and from what I could tell the restaurant seemed to be clean. The problem lies with an essential ingredient in most restaurants, the food. Maybe I'm being picky, being an actual Indian, however all of the dishes that we had ordered, save perhaps for the chicken makhani, were incredibly bland. The lack of Indian restaurants in the West Loop is unfortunate, and I had high hopes that this would fill the void, but clearly it does not.
Report This Reviewme and my family went to try this new indian restaurant last sat. and i was so pleased with everything they had to offer! classy but nice and cozy environment. i ordered quite a lot of different dishes and all of them exceeded my expectations!! i highly recommend this place to anybody looking for an authentic indian cuisine. the best samosa ive ever had, THE BEST cheese naan-if u love cream cheese ull love this too (my kids' fave), lamb chops cooked to perfection , very tasty chicken kebabs and 2 other dishes i ordered (but unfortunately forgot the names) were out of this world!!! we're definitely coming back and will for sure bring family and friends to this place.
