The owners here wanted to create a contemporary-yet-authentic Indian restaurant, importing everything, including the glasses, tables and artifacts from India. The menu here is mainly Northern Indian, featuring several items prepared in the clay oven, including popular dishes like tandoori chicken and shrimp, and also leavened breads like naan, roti and kulcha. Appetizers include samosas, crispy stuffed-potato turnovers. Saag paneer is one of the vegetarian specialties. Several biryanis, elaborate dishes of basmati rice layered with meats and vegetables are also featured. Enjoy Indian beers like Taj Mahal and King Fisher, exotic cocktail offerings, or a mango lassi (chilled yogurt drink ).
