Baba's Village Restaurant

Neighborhood: West Loop
310 A S. Canal St.

Chicago, IL 60606

River North's round-the-clock Pakistani-Indian restaurant Baba Palace, which has a loyal following (including slews of cabbies), is behind this Loop spot. The menu highlights popular items from Baba like frontier chicken (boneless chicken with tomatoes, onions herbs and spices) and kebabs, plus they added new offerings like saag paneer (spinach with house-made cheese and spices) and chana masala (chickpeas with ginger, garlic and onion). There are also tandoor oven-prepped breads like naan and keema paratha (wheat bread stuffed with ground beef and spices). This location seats about 50, and they are hoping to add outdoor seating later this summer.
