For 40 years, ice cream has held a prominent position in downtown Wheaton with this now retro-cool parlor. Owner Ann Wank says her specialty is the chocolate peanut butter ice cream that she mixes by hand, throwing in peanut butter and crushed nuts to form a chunky -- and popular -- creation. Thirty-two flavors round out the cool fair at this inexpensive Wheaton treat.
