As if flaunting its confidence in its quarter-pound Vienna beef dog--here called a "chubby" ($4.75), this cute just-below-street level stand actually offers big greasy burgers ($7) and sloppy delicious chili fries ($4.75) on the same menu.  The dogs remain the undisputed king, however; The Chicago-style -- here called "The Works"-- comes with pickle, cucumber, tomato, hot peppers and onion and a bun that nearly buckles beneath it all. Dogs come out quickly and there's plenty of tall tables and stools making this an ideal choice when in a rush. The bright and friendly family-owned joint offers plenty of personality, and the outgoing staff will likely chat you up.
