The name says it all: This quick-serve spot features numerous variations of meat (and some veggies) on a stick. (In fact, their tagline is “get stuck on the stick.”) The offbeat “island fusion” selections are served in a island-inspired 12-seat storefront with tiki touches. Skewer highlights include coconut and cilantro-marinated shrimp with mango chili, five-spice grilled filet mignon and passion fruit-glazed salmon. Get 'em solo, as part of a combo or as an entree. BYOB or keep the tropical theme going with a coconut banana smoothie or a lemongrass iced tea. Good news for Wicker Park pub-crawlers looking for a late-night bite: Skewerz is open late on weekends.
