The food was very good and the service was excellent. Our server (Nicholas) was perfect! We were a party of eight on a busy night and he knew went to come and when to leave. Explaining to us the foods and how they're cooked was a rare experience for me in greektown since most servers aren't even greek anymore. Will defintley will be back OPA!!!

I am amaze how some people could work in a Restaurant if they are not willing to give a good service. I went to that restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and the food was ok as always, but the service is terrible. In this restaurant you go and be treated as you have to plead for service. The food is ok but not THAT GOOD!!!! to stand for that.treatment. Its unfortunately i guess the owner has no idea how the manager is running that business. There are a lot of good restaurant in that area and i recommend to go everywhere but COSTAS.......... its terrible, no manners no attention no nothing.

Large servings of amazing food is what you will find at Costa's. The sampler platter and the lamb were very good. The restaurant was very nice looking. Our server was very efficient but not too friendly but it appeared that others were, however we were never without water and he did check in on us often. We got our food quickly and nothing was too pricey. We even got a bottle of wine that was relatively inexpensive. Overall it was a great experience and I will eat there again.

My gf and I just moved to a condo a block away from here so we stopped in one night. She was commenting on the ambiance as soon as we walked in the door. The wine list is deep enough to please a sommelier while not intimidating those new to picking out a bottle other than Kendall-Jackson. For an app, we ordered bougiordy. I don’t like tomatoes, but this is incredible. We followed this with the Fisherman’s Risotto and Braised Lamb; both were excellent. The risotto was perfectly seasoned and large enough that leftovers covered lunch the following day. The lamb was so tender that it actually separated like pulled pork. The staff stayed at a distance the entire night until it appeared as though we needed something. This was the perfect evening for the two of us; we will definitely be back.

We went to Costa's on a Monday night when there were only 3 other tables. I didn't mind the absence of others-the place is charming, clean, and a good romantic spot. Our waiter, however, was unimpressive, and couldn't answer the simplest of questions (like, 'what's good on the menu?' garnered a blank stare and then a run-off of some 15 things). We ordered the saganaki, which was pretty good, and then followed up with the combination plate of greek specialities and braised lamb. The food arrived no more than 3 minutes after we ordered, leaving us to believe it had been microwaved. The sampler platter was bland and tough and only the gyros was good. The braised lamb was tasteless & tough and had sand in it.For $70, I would have liked our waiter to at least be interested in why we sent most of our food back.Needless to say, I won't be back.
Report This ReviewBy far the best greek place in Chicago- and I have been to them all, that's right... ALL OF THEM. No one compares! Outstanding Food, superlative service, clean, open, vibrant atmospehere.. Excellent baked clams and fried Zuchini! The best lamb chop in Chicago and the best gyros this side of Athens! forget the hype, high prices and rude service of other inferrior greek places... I go to Costa's each and every time and have NEVER been let down...
Report This ReviewMy husband and I thought the food was excellent. He had the rack of lamb, and I ordered the Pasta Maria. The only negative aspect was that it took quite a long while to get refills on drinks.
Report This ReviewFantastic. I had my sister's baby shower here and had top-notch service, food and atmosphere. They really did a great job to accommodate our group. Thank you!!
Report This ReviewIt was the most comfortable place I have ever been in. The staff was so friendly and the pork chops and lamb was "excellent". Would recommend everyone I know!
Report This ReviewCosta's is not bad but they really should visit the one on Oak Brook and learn about service. Our waiter was very rude when we asked about substitutions and food preparation. I ordered pork ka bob which was not bad but nothing special, my date had the salmon which was about the same. If you really want some quality food with better service, go to Greek Islands down the street, it's one hundred percent better than this place.
