Heaven served in the form of Civil War inspired omelettes.

The atmosphere of this restaurant was great especially on Lincoln's Birthday. The food was horrible. It seems like their main ingredient was butter. Not a very healthy or good tasting choice. My omelette seemed to have more butter than egg.

This place is a real throwback, with middle-aged waitresses who call you ?hon,? vinyl booths, and a hostess with a most impressive B-52 hairdo. It?s great for breakfast ? omelets, skillets, good sausage links and ham off the bone ? and the coffee is decent too. There?s free parking just east on Irving Park if you get a token at the register when you pay your bill. The Lincoln is a neighborhood classic.

If you're looking for a good omelette for brunch or whatever - and you need a place with parking - go here.
