Zen, a friendly neighborhood noodle shop, meditates heavily on the cuisines of nine Asian countries: China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos and the Philippines. The extensive menu focuses on Thai satays (try the non-requisite meatball), wok-fried noodle dishes, soups and curries. Standouts include spicy Malaysian Indian noodles with a curry-tomato flavor and roasted duck noodle soup spiked with cinnamon. A simple pleasure is the pineapple fried rice with raisins, cashews, egg and scallions. To drink: bubble teas and fruit smoothies.
