Sura

This Lakeview eatery is from the folks behind spacey-funky NYC spots Spice, Sea and Peep. Look for a Thai-fusion tapas-focused menu and a mod clubby atmosphere ("sura" is the Thai word for liquor, after all). The menu lists entrees like tamarind cashew chicken, teriyaki-glazed tilapia and Panang curry, plus tapas like scallops ceviche and coconut-crusted shrimp. Owners added sushi to the mix in June of 2008; the maki lineups includes classics such as the Dragon and Rainbow roll, plus signature rolls like the Big Chicago with tuna, salmon, unagi, crab, Japanese pickles and avocado.
