This casual Northbrook eatery, part of a Chicago-based chain, specializes in Pan-Asian noodle and stir-fry dishes, with Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese influences. The create-your-own stir-fry market bar is a popular option for the more adventurous diner (and with those with dietary restrictions). Select from 20 vegetables, a dozen house-made sauces, herbs and condiments, rice and noodles, plus meats and seafood. After you've made your choices, a wok-trained chef will whip up your customized dish in the open exhibition kitchen. Other signature menu items include chicken lettuce wraps, wok-seared tuna sashimi, spicy basil noodles and crispy Szechwan catfish. The specialty cocktail list features the rum-laden "crazy Buddha," served in a giant 60-ounce glass. Try the wontons stuffed with bananas and white chocolate for dessert. The woody modern dining room features colorful murals, Asian statuary, artifacts and lanterns, and offers both booth and table seating.
