Named for a small island off the northwest coast of the Malay Peninsula, Penang may be the only restaurant in the city specializing in Malaysian cuisine. A display kitchen lets you watch while noodles and other dishes--such as the appetizer roti canai, Indian-style pancakes with curry chicken --are prepared. Ask your server to recommend something from the staggering menu (more than 150 choices); be sure to specify whether you prefer fiery or more gentle-to-the-tongue options. Did we mention there's also a sushi bar?
