France meets Mexico at this Division Street spot where Yanitzin Sanchez, who's trained and worked in both countries, is in the kitchen. Sanchez's French-Mex fusion results in dishes such as tequila-chipotle fondue, made with both manchego and blue cheese, and lobster "enchiladas," where crepes stand in for tortillas and the lobster is prepared with guajillo pepper and achiote. The space, which sports an open kitchen, toys with fusion too: The front dining room is a cozy, candlelit, white-tablecloth affair, while the back room opens up with high ceilings for a more lively feel. Sabor Saveur is BYOB for now, with a liquor license in the works.
