A brasserie like no other
Though it opened in 2007, neighborhood folks instantly took to this handsome boite's old soul. Chef Roland Liccioni, who earned fame at legendary Le Francais, takes a more relaxed approach here, offering pate, seafood terrine, poached salmon with eggless Bearnaise sauce and roasted Long Island duck, plus rotating specials like sweetbreads, beef Wellington and bouillabaisse. The duck consomme is not to be missed. Some Vietnamese-influenced dishes also make the menu in the brasserie (like lobster ravioli with Vietnamese foam). The crowd here skews a bit older but it's still lively, and the front bar is always bustling.

Rich White Guy from Old Town - June 27, 2008
