Very intamate. Great service, chef Bernard/Owner came to our table to introduce himself was a very nice touch. Staff was extreamly friendly & helpful with wine choices. Everyone made my wife and I feel right at home. One of the great hidden secrets of the North...we'll be back.
Report This ReviewIt seems as though the chef/owner has neglected his French heritage. The atmosphere is far from the intimate dining spaces of France and there is no cheese course. The food was very good but not artfully presented. The service was very slow, so make sure you go with someone whose company you enjoy. Also, be sure to ask for bottled water, as the tap water leaves a strange taste of blood in your mouth...it must be well water. I would probably go back because the food was good and now at least I know what to expect from the service.

She returned to inform us that Riedel glasses were available but there would be an addtional charge. They charged us $1 per glass, seemingly fair, but awfully tacky. The atmosphere could also use some upgrading; yes there is art on the walls and the space itself is cozy, but the cheesy ceiling fan, drop ceilings, harsh  wall sconces and vinyl chairs have got to go. For appetizers my wife had the mushroom cigar which was very good and I had the cassolette of  escargot and mushrooms which was quite devoid of flavor and quite dissappointing. Next we had the Mesclun salad which was fine and the Vichyssois (cold) which was very good. The Vichyssois was especially good paired with a glass of French Viognier. The palatte cleanser of pear (Bosc) sorbet (additional charge $5) was done with pears past their prime. The main course (beef tournedos) was excellent though and came with a complex yet subtle mushroom mousse and a ve
