If your Mom were Catherine Deneuve, she would make comfort food like Holly's -- you have your French onion soup and bistro salad, for example, but also chicken pot pie and macaroni and cherve gratin. Especially lovely entrees include rigatoni with Italian sausage and sage cream, classic cassoulet and steak frites. Recent specials have included Bigeye tuna with wasabi potatoes and veal tenderloin with mushroom polenta and cognac cream. Desserts such as poached pears with mascarpone don't disappoint. At lunch, there's a lighter version of what's on at dinner time, and weekends offer a brunch menu with eggs Benedict and omelets, too. The decor is as cheerful as the waitstaff. Holly's also hosts monthly wine dinners and weeknight live entertainment.
