Located in the Sofitel Chicago O'Hare, this casual brasserie serves up French fare such as foie gras with vegetable confit and homemade brioche, and an asparagus and brie tart with chervil butter sauce. Other beginners include Maine lobster bisque and mesclun salad with warm, herbed goat cheese and tarragon vinaigrette. Chilean sea bass is steamed with spiced peaches, and filet mignon is sautéed and served with a three-peppercorn sauce and potato galette.

During lunch, there's a selection of soups, salads and sandwiches, including prosciutto with tomato confit and fromage blanc on basil bread, and hickory-smoked Atlantic salmon, fromage blanc and sliced beets on multi-grain. Sip house Cuvée Sofitel during the weekly Sunday brunch while dining on a selection of French-tinged favorites.

Rich burgundy and hunter hues, banquettes and a fireplace make the space ultra-comfy. Also of note is the private, country French style dining room, which seats 12 and is located in the main kitchen.
